MY WORK
Photographs have always been a huge part of my upbringing and loosing a close family member truly made me realize the importance of photography. Not only does photography capture personal memories and document world events, it also allows for individuals to express their creativity. As a student I am currently exploring and experimenting with different genres and styles of photography.
Portraiture
As part of my personal investigation, I have explored different genres of photography, one of them being portraiture. This is one of the more recent genres I have experimented with as I am beginning to find my own style.
Landscape Photography
When I first began my personal investigation, I started by looking into landscape photography. Despite having moved away from this genre within my work, I did find the exploration and experimentation very interesting.
Fashion Photography
I am currently looking into fashion photography within my personal investigation. After having explored portraiture and enjoying this genre, I wanted to challenge myself to something more, and began working on fashion photography.
Macro Photography
Whilst experimenting with landscape photography, towards the beginning of my personal investigation, I noticed that many of my images were more macro than landscape. Due to this, once I had finished exploring landscape photography, I began to focus more on macro.
